2023 Jeep ‘41 Concept

Over 80 years ago, the first Jeep vehicles rolled off the assembly line and headed toward active duty in the United States Army. As a way to pay tribute to its roots, Jeep created the military-themed Jeep ‘41 concept based on a four-door Wrangler Rubicon 4xe.

The plug-in hybrid Jeep ‘41 gets its power from a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine that teams with a pair of electric motors, a high-voltage battery pack, and a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission to generate 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This setup returns an impressive 49 mpg equivalent and offers up to 21 miles of all-electric range, making it the most eco-friendly, capable, and technically advanced Wrangler ever. For hitting the trails, the concept comes with a 2-inch lift kit, 35-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires, and 17-inch Fifteen52 Analog HD wheels.

The Jeep ‘41 nods to its past with a black powder-coated steel bumper and matte olive green finish. It also features a bumper bull bar from Jeep Performance Parts, a WARN winch, JPP half doors, and a tan soft top. Finishing touches include accent-colored tow hooks and a custom stenciled graphics package. On the inside, the SUV boasts canvas-covered seats, digitized camo styling elements, and Serafil 1043 stitching. Additionally, it has a Rhino-lined floor to fortify its toughness.

2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe Concept

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe concept is one of the few electric-assisted vehicles that Jeep built as part of its “Zero Emission Freedom” mission. Similar to the production version, this concept uses a 2.0-liter turbo-four, two electric motors, and a 400-volt battery system. That’s good for a fuel-economy rating of 56 mpg-equivalent and up to 25 miles of electric range. A TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission provides quick and precise gear changes, while the Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension contributes to better ride quality.

On the outside, the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4xe concept has custom widened flares and trimmed wheel wells to accommodate its 33-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires and 20-inch Vossen gray metallic matte-painted wheels. It’s also fitted with Mopar rock sliders for enhanced protection against off-road obstacles and four projector fog lamps to improve visibility in adverse weather conditions. The concept’s interior dons saddle-colored upholstery with “Rodney” houndstooth details for a premium and cozy vibe. Although the primary color scheme is custom, it still features Surf Blue stitching and signature Trailhawk 4xe badging.

2023 Jeep Wrangler Magneto 2.0 Concept

At the previous edition of the Easter Jeep Safari, Jeep introduced a first-of-its-kind battery-electric vehicle (BEV) called the Wrangler Magneto BEV concept, which received a phenomenal response from the attendees of the event. The Magneto 2.0 kicks things up a notch with increased power, capability, control, and technology.

The Wrangler Magneto 2.0 concept is equipped with a sophisticated axial flux motor, four lithium-ion 70-kWh battery packs that make up an 800-volt system, and a specialized inverter typically found in high-performance race cars. Mated to a six-speed manual transmission, this Wrangler churns out an incredible 625 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque. According to Jeep, it’s capable of hitting 60 mph from a stop in a mind-blowing two seconds.

Based on a two-door Wrangler, the Magneto 2.0 concept’s wheelbase is 12 inches longer than its predecessor’s. It comes with a 3-inch lift kit that creates enough room for its huge 40-inch Maxxis Razr mud tires, which are fitted on 20-inch wheels. Exterior details include Surf Blue paint, custom bumpers, a bikini top, carbon-fiber bits, and a special hood with a window allowing admirers to peek at the power unit.

2023 Jeep Bob Concept

The Jeep Bob concept is a cross between the iconic Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator JT pickup truck. “Bobbing” is a term used for shortening a vehicle to improve its off-road capability. In this case, it means reducing the truck bed overhang of the Gladiator by 12 inches. High-clearance fender flares and custom steel bumpers increase the concept’s approach and departure angles and provide extra protection in off-road situations. Other modifications include 40-inch Maxxis Razr mud tires, 20-inch Raceline Beadlock wheels, a 3-inch lift kit with off-road suspension components, Dynatrac ProRock 60 axles, and King coils and bypass shocks.

Powering the Jeep Bob concept is a 3.0-liter Eco-Diesel turbo-six engine that pairs with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. Delivering low RPM shifts, this setup can easily adjust to rough terrain. The SUV also has a Mopar cold-air intake to produce more torque and better fuel efficiency.

Jeep Rubicon 20th Anniversary Concept

To celebrate the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon’s two decades of trail-loving fun, rock-crawling, and over-landing, Jeep showcased the Jeep Rubicon 20th Anniversary concept at the 2022 Easter Jeep Safari. Featuring the same 6.4-liter V-8 found in the Rubicon 392, this concept boasts a 2-inch lift kit from Jeep Performance Parts, 37-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires, and 17-inch Mopar Beadlock-capable wheels. A steel front bumper incorporates a WARN winch, while an underbody skid plate protects the vehicle’s critical components.

The exterior of the Rubicon 20th Anniversary concept boasts a matte Granite Crystal vinyl wrap, a Sky One-Touch Power Top, custom-built half doors, and removable side panels. To acknowledge the Wrangler Rubicon’s 20 years of success, there’s a 20th-anniversary hood decal, an American flag fender decal, and gold tow hooks and badging.
