Proficiency in plumbing and electrical work is essential; HVAC knowledge is highly desirable. Chris Nikel is a great place to work! Responsibilities:
- Construction skills such as carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, roofing, and welding
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills for fixing maintenance issues
- Administrative skills for ordering supplies, handling records, and scheduling maintenance
- Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move, and handle equipment
- Stamina to deal with long hours standing or walking
- Strong verbal and written communication for discussing maintenance issues
- Ability to work in extreme hot or cold conditions
- Organizational and time management skills
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years of related experience is a plus
Compensation:
$17 - $18 hourly

Description

Our “I'm going to make it hard on myself to make it easy on you, Mr. Customer” attitude is a hallmark of the company's philosophy. We are looking for a person with 2 years of Detailing experience. You will be responsible for cleaning the Interior and Exterior, including but not limited to carpet and upholstery shampooing, buffing, and waxing. Chris Nikel is a great place to work! Responsibilities:
- Clean the Interior and Exterior, including carpet and upholstery shampooing, buffing, and waxing
- Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs
- Apply wax to the auto body and wipe or buff the surface
- Vacuum the interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
- Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and devices
- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals
- Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and cleaning agents
- Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and mechanical issues
- Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces
- Use touch-up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials
- Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using hazardous products
- Fill vehicles with fuel
- Apply dressing on tires and tire wells
- Replace missing or defective small parts
- Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean, presentable condition
- Ensure proper stickers are displayed in vehicle windows
- Remove all window stickers on sold vehicles
- Keep work area neat and clean
- Operate all tools and equipment safely
- Report any safety issues to management immediately
- Other tasks as assigned

Responsibilities:
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
- Drains oil from crankcase and refills with the required amount of oil
- Inspects vehicle fluid levels, and replaces or replenishes as necessary
- Check tire pressure and add air if needed
- Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants
- Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts
- Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor
- Perform fluid and filter changes on the vehicles we sell
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of our automotive offerings
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service to our customers

- Sells and delivers a minimum number of vehicles per month.
- Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with dealership policies.
- Utilizes dealership sales control and follow-up systems.
- Attends product and sales training courses as requested by sales manager.
- Keeps up-to-date on new products and services within the industry.
- Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
- Maintains a prospect development system.
- Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
- Satisfies the transportation needs of vehicle purchasers.
- Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
- Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Other tasks as assigned.
