In terms of towing, this hybrid SUV more than holds its own against the competition, with a towing capacity of 6,200 pounds.

The interior of the Grand Cherokee 4xe will look familiar to Jeep fans because it’s not all that different from the standard Grand Cherokee. Five passengers can relax comfortably across two rows of seating, which have standard leather upholstery. Both rows have plenty of space for adult passengers, including 41.3 inches of legroom up front and 38.2 inches in the rear.

One major difference from the original Grand Cherokee is that the 4xe is designed with blue accents throughout the cabin. This is a signature of the 4xe label, which Jeep has already used on the Wrangler. You’ll also notice blue exterior accents, including decals and 4xe badges.

Standard seating features include power adjustments in the front row, heated first- and second-row seats, and memory settings for the driver. You can upgrade to ventilated front seats, sunshades for the rear row, and a massaging function for the front seats.

Behind the second row, you’ll have 37.7 cubic feet of storage space. That’s plenty of room to load up your gear to go camping or carry several suitcases for a family vacation. If you need to transport bulkier items, such as household furniture, you can fold down the rear row of seats to open up over 70 cubic feet of capacity behind the front row.

The standard infotainment setup includes a main touch screen designed to make it easy to access features. There’s also a smaller display for the passenger seat, which allows your front-seat passenger to take care of things like finding a route on your navigation system or changing the radio channel, so you can stay focused on the road ahead. Other standard features include a Wi-Fi hotspot, smartphone compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an option to save user preferences.

A similarly wide range of safety features come standard. These include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring. If you do a bit of off-roading, you’ll be glad about the hill start assist feature, as well as the optional off-roading camera. In the late 1930s, the villa and property were gifted by its owner to become the beloved Tulsa art museum it is today. It’s located at 2727 S. Rockford Road in Tulsa, only 20 minutes from Broken Arrow. It’s open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is only $12 for adults while youth 17 and under are free, making it a great place to take the whole family.

The museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day, but you’ll definitely want to check out the Philbrook Festival, which is returning this year in late November and runs for six weeks. Member tickets are available from Nov. 2, and public tickets are available from Nov. 9. It features a 15-foot Christmas tree at the entrance, trees and decorations inside the villa, thousands of lights illuminating the villa’s exterior and back gardens, as well as art displays, live music performances, and holiday decor to set the festive mood. Rhema Christmas Lights Extravaganza

Rhema Christmas Lights Extravaganza lights up at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Eve on Nov. 23 and runs until Jan. 2. This spectacle is free to attend and located at the 110-acre Rhema campus, where nearly three million lights will be lit up in extravagant displays. This event attracts around 500,000 visitors a year from around Oklahoma. At the extravaganza, you’ll find a Christmas tree forest, 3D angels and reindeer, a gingerbread family, and more. Acting as a focal piece of the display is the Rhema Park bridge, which is beautifully lit up by arching overhead lights.

This all-ages event will delight both kids and grown-ups with its magical displays. Hot chocolates, kettle corn, and funnel cakes will be available to buy in the park, along with lighted toys for the kids to enjoy at home. There are also carriage rides offered at the event with two types of carriages. Open-top carriage rides are $10 per person, with kids five and under free. Or go with a private carriage, which is $50 and can fit up to four adults. Is there a better way to spend an evening than enjoying a light display with your family?

Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run and Walk

The Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run and Walk is an annual event that happens on the day after Thanksgiving. It’s a post-Thanksgiving tradition that is a great way to up your steps after a day of eating turkey, potatoes, pies, and other delights. The Turkey Trot follows a course through downtown Tulsa that starts and ends at the grand Christmas tree at the BOK Center. The timed 5K race costs $45 after Oct. 24, while the Fun Run, which isn’t timed, starts at $30. Special pricing is available for youths aged 18 and under.

All participants of the Turkey Trot 5K and Fun Run will receive a long-sleeved T-shirt and post-race treats along with a great finisher medal to celebrate. The Dodge Ram lineup has something for every taste and job if you need a pickup truck and want power, comfort, and convenience. The full-size Ram 1500 and the heavy-duty Ram 2500 have exceptional powertrain packages that can handle your work week and weekend adventures. Of course, each truck has its specs. To help you determine which truck fits your needs best, we asked our pickup experts to break down the two vehicles for you.

Towing and Performance

Ram 1500 and Ram 2500 pickups have the power to handle the most challenging jobs and terrain. You have gas and diesel engine options and the choice of a two-wheel or four-wheel drivetrain. Various cab and bed configurations offer more choices to suit a particular need. All your gas-powered engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine gets a six-speed automatic.

You have five engine options on the Ram 1500. A 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine comes in the lower trims. This engine puts out 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque and tows up to 7,730 pounds. Ram offers a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine with or without e-Torque, a mild hybrid technology. Both 5.7-liter engines produce 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. However, the e-Torque can tow more with a rating of 12,750 pounds versus the regular HEMI’s 11,610 pounds.

An available supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 capable of producing 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque can crank up the fun on or off the road. However, the supercharged HEMI doesn’t do much for towing, coming in at an 8,100-pound towing capacity. There’s still plenty of pull to take your bass boat to the river; you know you’ll get there fast. If you want power and efficiency, you can opt for the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel turbocharged V-6 engine. This powertrain puts out 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque and tows an impressive 12,560 pounds.

The Ram 2500 offers heavy-duty construction to support heavy-duty work. Therefore, Ram gives you two engine options on the 2500. A 6.4-liter gas-powered HEMI V-8 engine provides 410 horsepower, 429 lb-ft of torque, and can tow 17,540 pounds when properly equipped. You can choose the 6.7-liter Cummins turbo diesel inline six-cylinder engine if you need more power. This monster delivers 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque and an impressive 20,000-pound towing capacity.

Towing anything with a Ram truck, you don’t rely just on power. Instead, you have some of the most advanced technologies in the world to assist you with the job. From hooking up to backing up and improved handling on the move, Ram towing technology helps you stay in control.

Ram towing technology includes Cargo View and Backup Camera systems. A cargo view camera sends a live video feed to your center stack display. Ram’s Trailer Reverse Steering Control system has revolutionized how you back up your trailer. Even seasoned towing professionals encounter steering issues when backing up a trailer. But with Trailer Reverse Steering Control, you won’t ever have that problem again. TRSC projects a live video of your trailer as you reverse. You then control your trailer’s direction by using the steering knob on the center stack. Turn the knob in the direction you want the trailer to head, and the system adjusts your Ram’s steering to produce the desired result. 

A Trailer Sway Control system continuously monitors your trailer’s path. When it detects a drift, the system automatically adjusts braking and throttle to help return your trailer to its intended course. You can take advantage of options such as the Trailer Tow Mirrors, which fold out when towing. They also feature spotter lamps. These mirrors improve visibility with a wider, clearer view.

Another option, the Multi-Function Tailgate, gives you more flexibility when loading and unloading the bed. Unlike other truck’s tailgates, the Ram MFT has 60/40 split swing-away doors that open to either side. This split door enables you to access the bed even with a trailer attached. Other trucks with traditional fold-down tailgates would strike the trailer, limiting access to the bed and possibly damaging your truck or trailer.
