Jeep Wrangler Maintenance Plan

Monthly

  • Check fluid levels, including brake fluid, coolant, engine oil, and windshield washer
  • Check tire pressure
  • Check interior and exterior lights
  • If it’s time for an oil change: replace filter and rotate tires
  • Check brake pads, door latches, exhaust, battery terminals, etc.

20,000 miles

  • Check universal joints, front suspension, tie rod ends, front and rear axle fluid, and brake linings
  • Replace the air conditioning or cabin air filter as needed

30,000 miles

  • Inspect transfer fluid and case fluid
  • Replace engine air cleaner filter
  • Change manual transmission fluid if your Jeep is used for trailer towing, snow plowing, heavy loading, taxi, police, or off-roading

40,000 miles

  • Perform the standard 20,000 mile inspections and replacements
  • Change front and rear axle fluid if used in any of the above situations (trailer towing, snow plowing, etc.)

60,000 miles

  • Perform the standard 20,000 and 30,000 mile inspections and replacements
  • Replace your Jeep’s spark plugs if needed
  • Change manual transmission fluid if used in any of the above situations (see 30,000 mile inspection)
  • Transfer case fluid if vehicle is used for police, taxi, fleet, or frequent towing

100,000 miles

  • Performing the 20,000 mile inspections and replacements
  • Replacing the spark plugs (if not already replaced)
  • Flush and replace engine, intercooler, battery, and Motor Generator Unit coolant if needed (if not needed, to be done at 150,000 miles)
  • Inspect and replace the PCV valve
